The Story...con't...

Ok...as per Kami's request, which I totally understand...*grumbles under her breath*...stupid dial up...this is the continuation of the story...as you can see by the lovely title...*does a pretty cheezy impression of Vanna White*...

So a quick synopsis is in order...i think...

Our story begins with blood and metal, then quickly turns into a saga of stirfry's, and burnt breasts. Spilled sauces and sticky messes. The surprise is ruined and someone's spying on the shower. Out into the rain they go, to a restaraunt where they make a scene...a secret reveiled...then out into the rain once more. This time there is a yelling match and gun fire. An eerie impression of a gopher, and a safe house. SEX, sleeping and more sex. Then a shared shower and more sex...and then the bad guys come in...and interupt some sex...and that is basically it...so let us continue...

I heard him swallow audibly, and the gun lowered a few inches. I pouted that sexy pout that all women have, and sauntered around him, fingers trailing over his shoulders. I watched his head follow my movements around the room.

"What do you say we loose the crowd?" I pressed myself full against him. He took that opportunity to push me back hard enough that I stumbled.

"Put the rest of your clothes on, whore." he said. The gun was firm and steady once more. Ok, so maybe I had picked the wrong guy...and I had pissed him off...Great! "The boss man don't like to be kept waiting. Besides, I'll have my way with you, once he's done. And baby," he leaned in close enought that I could smell the stale booze on his breath, "We'll have all the time in the world."

(((Thanks bunchies Mel)))

I shurg and pull on a shirt. Damn why on earth did Steve have to choose all the clothing that is now one size too small. I glance back to the lead bad guy and smile evilly, "As if you can handle me that long. Probably all your time in the world is about five..." I barely got the last word out before He swung the gun up and caught me high in the cheek. A sear of bright pain ran up into my head, and with a sigh I collasp onto the ground.
"Watch it man she has to be brought in in one piece."
"Shut the fuck up. I was put into control of this and the boss wouldn't mind if she has some bruises on her." The head guy grinned down to me. I looked up to him and for a moment I saw a flash of fear in his eyes. He knew that he did something wrong with hitting me. Perhaps I can still get to him. I looked over to Cole and saw him looking away as if this all was his fault or something. But it wasn't. This was all my fault.

I closed my eyes and began to breath deeply and evenly. When I opened my eyes I locked gazes with "the big cheese" and let all emotion out of my eyes. They were dead, like a dolls eyes. It was a look I had perfected years ago. Your face may not give anything away, but your eyes are a window to your soul. It takes alot to close that window. But I had, and now I had that perfect dead stare down. I watched him pale a bit. He wasn't very good at keeping anything off his face, it was a wonder he made it this far.

"Get the fuck up, whore!" He yelled.

"Don't, call me a whore." The words were calm, even, but forceful just the same.

"You, put some fucking clothes on!" He turned his rage and attention on Cole...bad move.

Cole turned bright red, trying to control his own personal rage. "I would if your fucking idiot knew that I can't possibly fit into women's clothes." He folded his arms over his chest, the hairs on his arms standing on end from the cold.

The main guy then turned his rage at Steve, who seemed to cower away and without a single word exchanged took out of the bathroom. He gritted his teeth. "Who set me up with that moron."

Another guy off to my right came up, his voice unexpectingly deep. "We got to get going this is taking too long." A horn honked down on the street.

The guy with the bass voice turned to steve. "Go see if the lady had anything that would fit him!"

"I don't...but his clothes are in the living room." I wasn't going to be a hinderance...don't show them what they expect. I was gonna be nice and friendly, helpful even...try and throw them off.

"You heard the lady Steve, go get the man some clothes."

Steve sighed heavily and scuttled off down the hall grumbling to himself.

He returned a few moments later carrying Coles discarded jeans and shirt. He balled them up and threw them at Cole, who caught them with a blur of speed that surprised us all. He sneered at Steve, "Thanks," and began to get dressed.

I looked at Cole and crooked an eyebrow. "Maybe there was more to him than I thought, no it can't be, Just the heat of the moment." I thought to myself.

The horn sounded from down the street again. Cheese-man turned around and started walking to the door. "Grab them and lets go. Mostly cover the whore, I'm not so worried about the whore's bitch." He snickered to himself, then walked out of the room.

We all filed out of the bathroom, Two guys infront of me, two guys behind me, Cole, and then Steve bringing up the rear.

"Wow, all this attention on me? You guys are too much! I feel like a movie star!" I placed a hand over my heart and fluttered my eyelashes. Me a smart ass? Never.

I was rewarded for my comment with a jab in the back by a gun barrel.

"Shut up and keep walking!" The bass guy said roughly.

We were in the living room now. I saw my jacket and Coles laying on the floor by the couch. I had a gun in the pocket of my jacket. All I had to do was get it. Easier said than done.

A thought popped into my head. "Gentlemen I need my coat. I have no meat on my bones and I get cold easily." Sounded reasonable. The lead man sighed and nodded, I skipped over and grabbed the coat drapping it over an arm and racing back to where I was a moment before.

I took one last glance at the worn out furniture and left the door, knowing that there was no chance in seeing this home again.

Once in the hall, I slipped the jacket over my arms and into place. I did it up, then feigned a shiver and dug my hands deep into my pockets. There was the reassuring cold heavy steel of my gun. It made me warm and fuzzy inside.

They walked us to the car down on the street, a long black limo. At least we got to be kidnapped in style, right? I tried to remember how many shots I had fired last night. My gun holds the standard 15 bullets, 16 if you keep one in the chamber, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that. Wandering around with a loaded gun was just asking for trouble.

I remember fireing three into the bushes the first time, but did I shoot one or two the second time? So I had ten bullets, maybe eleven. I would have to make the shots count. And my time was running out.

With my fingers wrapped around the cold, hard, reasuring weight of the gun's grip I prepared to do what I dreaded doing. I knew I wanted out, but I didn't want to get Cole killed. Once we stopped at the car, I risked a glance at Cole. He met my gaze and nodded. He knew what I was going to do. All he had to do was take care of Steve. Not all that hard.

"Hey guys," He said tapping the two guys behind me on the shounders.

"What the fuck do you want?" They said simultaniously, turning their attention from me. I took the opportunity to pull my gun and shot one of the men infront of me in the back of the head. I turned and fired again at the man beside his slumping buddy. He went down with a hole in his chest. Cole had knocked out the two men behind me and Steve now had him at gun point.

"Put the gun down, bitch!" Steve yelled, gun brel pressed into Cole's temple. I stood, feet shoulder width apart, gun tea-cupped in my hands, breathing steady. I wondered if I could pull it off.

Kami Akai said...

As I watched Cole shiver in the man's grasp, I wondered if there was any chance of him living this. If he didn't live what was the point? However on the other hand if they kill him they no longer have a bargining chip. Suddenly something within me snapped. Suddenly I didn't care. I leveled the gun at Steve and squeezed the trigger. Everything slowed down, I realized my mistake. Will Steve react with fatal instinct?

Mel said...

My shot took Steve in the shoulder, spinning him around and down onto the pavement behind Cole.

"Get the gun!" I yelled at Cole. He dove for the fallen gun as I kept the writhing screaming Steve in my sights. Cole was up, standing beside me, panting. But he was holding the gun. He mimcked my hand hold, one hand wrapped around the grip, the other cuped under the butt. It was a steadier hold, offered more balance and accuracy.

"What now?" He asked glancing at me nervously, then back to Steve, who had quit screaming and was now clutching his shoulder moaning softly.

Kami Akai said...

now what indeed? heh.

We backed up to touch backs. The lead guy smiled softly. "Now, I have to ask you girly. Do you think that you have won because you have a couple of guns to fight against the group?"

A gunshot rang out in the parking lot and I felt Cole collaspe against my back, before he squeezed out a few shots. Pissed I leveled my gun and fired it at the main guy. No longer did I care who is on my death card, my soul was already tarnished with the dark crimson of dried blood. As he fell to the floor dead before he hit the ground I felt a prick on my neck, reaching up I pull out a dart. Turning slightly, my shoes dripping themselves in a pool of blood and opened fire on the car. No longer did I care about others that may so happen to be on the sceane. My vision started to blur as the gun clicked once, signalling that the chamber was now empty.

I couldn't focus on anything around me, I saw shadows through my blurred vision walking towards me. I attempted to strike out at one of the blurs. Unforetunatly at that point, what ever type of tranquilizer, hit me full force. I fell to the ground, and everything went dark.

I awoke sitting in a chair. My head throbbed and my mouth felt like it was full of cotton. My head was lolled on my chest. My movements were sluggish, like I was moving through molasses. I raised my head, and saw nothing, a blank cement wall. My eyes were fuzzy. I tried to raise my hand to rub my head and found that I couldn't move. My hands were tied behind my back, then to the back of the chair. My ankles, tied to the legs of the chair. They were treating me as if I were dangerous. A lady takes compliments where she can.

I'm the anonymous one!!! Sorry don't know what happened

I wiggled my hands around and tested the tension on the ropes. Just like everyone does while tied up, does it usually help? No not really, but there is the one odd time!

Kami Akai said...

The small sound of a motor buzzed overhead, I looked up past the floresant lights that were in a dropped ceiling, and spotted a small camera. Freezing I knew not to do much else, or it would be recorded. Giving the ropes another tug I realized they gave a bit, not in the knots but in the ropes themselves. Nylon rope. At least they weren't animals and tied me with twine. If nothing else my wrists wouldn't be cut too badly if I work on them a bit. Cole! The thought ripped brutally through me. Where was he? Is he okay? Is he alive?

Mel said...

I knew they knew I was awake, and now that I'd stared blatently at the camera, they knew I knew they were watching me. It was only a matter of time before they came it to "interogate" me. That means that they were going to hurt me. A strange thing flipped through my head, something I had seen years ago, back when I was innocent, or less deadly, if you will. It was a comedian...I couldn't remember his name but one line from his act kept circling through my head. "Somebody gonna get a hurt real bad!" I started laughing histerically. The nights events finally catching up with me. I started laughing...and I couldn't stop. I was still laughing when I heard the locks snap open.

The door started to swing open, my laughter died to the soft gurgling in the back of my throat. I had tears streaming down my cheeks.
